Jane Wanjiku Kanyango (Mama Kiama)

It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Jane Wanjiku Kanyango. Loving wife of Paul Kiama (Principal, Muchungucha Secondary School, Murang’a). Doting mother of Briana Kiama (G.G. Rumuruti High School), Anita Wanjiru (Gatanga Girls’ High School) and Sharon Nyawira (Queen Esther School, Marmanet). Daughter of the late Peter Nginye and the late Gladys Nginye. Sister of Joyce Karinga, Margaret Karimi, Patrick Karimi, Danson Nginye, Lucy Mwaniki, Irene Karimi and Michael Nginye. Daughter-in law of the late Joel Kiama and Bliha Wothaya. Sister-in-law of Kireri, Warukira, Wania, Gichuki, Wambui, Ngunjiri, Wangari and the late Wachera.

Family, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at their home in Marmaneti Nyahururu and at Mukawa Lodge. Murang’a at 6pm.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu Referral Hospital mortuary on Thursday 8th December, 2016 at 9am for a funeral service and burial at her home in Marmanet, Nyahururu.
