Jane Wanjiru Wambugu

 1944 – 2022

We announce the transition to Glory of our dear Mum Jane Wanjiru Wambugu which occurred on 1st of May 2022.

She is the second born child of the late Edmund Kamau Chege and the late Gladwell Njeri Kamau. Beloved wife to the late Hezekiah Wambugu Wachira.

Sister to the late Rachel Wanja, the late Richard Chege, the late Christopher Ngige, the late Clifton Kinyanjui and Margaret Wanjiku lzquierdo (Richmond, USA). Sister-in-law to the late Timothy Macharia,Anne Knott, the late Josephine Wangari, Dorcas Wanja, Mary Wairimu, the late Peter Maina, Millicent Wangui, Elizabeth Nyambura, Mary Chege and the late Richard lzquierdo.

Beloved mother to Christine Wanjiku, Pauline Njeri, Gerald Wachira and Josephine Wangari. Mother-in-law to Bishop Joel Chola and Michael Macharia. Grandmother to Alvin Wambugu, Duncan Mnjala, Abigail Wanjiru, Nzingo Keziah, Mercyjoy Monje, Laura Macharia, Janerose Wangigi, Christian Macharia, Wanjiru Macharia and Janeclaire Wanjiru. An aunt, a mum and a friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday 12th May, 2022 at St Stephen’s ACK Church – Jogoo Road at 2.00pm.

The Cortege will leave Montezuma – Thika Road on Friday 13th May 2022 at 7.00am for burial service at her husband’s home in WarangaVillage, Kiria-ini, Location, Murang’a County.
