Janet Wanjiru Ndungu

It is with humble acceptance of God that we announce the promotion to Glory of Janet Wanjiru Ndungu, a resident of Gitugi village, Othaya in Nyeri, who rested peacefully on the 11th June 2020 at her home. She was born in 1950 in Kawendo, Kandara, to the late Phedan Muiruri and Peninah Mumbi.

Sister and a mother figure to her siblings Ben Nganga, Mbuco, Kawiri, Jane, Njambi, Muhia and Chiku. Loving wife of Amos Ndungu Ndirangu alias Mugikuyu. Loving mother of Samuel Muiruri (the late), Ibrahim Ndirangu, Louton Murage, Joseph Nganga and Ekrah Ndungu. She leaves behind several grandchildren and all of whom live in Nairobi, and brought great joy to her later years. Sister-in-law of Cromwell Ndirangu, Kezia Wanjiku, the late {Murage, Wacuha, Njeri, Waitherero, Mbuthia and Githua). An Aunt, cousin and friend to many.

She will be laid to rest on 17th June 2020 at her home in Othaya, Nyeri.
