Koteyo Familiy in acceptance of God’s will humbly announce the passing on of Japuonj Jaduong’ Zakayo Odoyo Makolwal. Jaduong’ Makolwal was an renowned Education officer and former Election coordinator of the then Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) Homabay District.

Son of the late Damianus and Mama Lydia Olwal of Marindi village Kanyada location, Homabay County. Brother of Mary Oyier and Late Gilbert Mondo. Loving husband of Rtrd teacher Felisters Makolwal, The late mama Grace Akumu Odoyo, Rtrd AEO Rose Makolwal, Mama Florence Makolwal of Kanyawang’a Sec. Sch, Mama Caroline Makolwal, Principal Nyamasare Sec.Sch. Loving son-in-law to the late Dalmas and Mama Tina Obinju of Gem Kachiena, Mzee Zadok and Mama Stella Okoko of Wire village, Mzee John and Mama Gaudencia Okwany of Bondonyironge village ,Migori County.

Martin Ogindo, former MP Rangwe Mr. Paul Chibole, Mr. Omollo, Maren, Jacky, Vicky, Sandra, Carol and Irene. Brother-in-law to late Dr. Joseph Okoko, Late Dr. Benjamin Abongo, Eng. Tom Okoko, Eng. Walter Okoko, Eng. Amon Okoko, Oyatta Obinju, Peter Okwany, Simon Okoko, Mrs. Naome Odawo, Mrs. Pauline Owiti, Mary Okwany, Lady Justice Wilfrida Okwany among others.

The cortege leaves Avenue Nursing Home Kisumu on Thursday the 23rd May, 2019 at 8:00am,for a requiem mass at Marindi Catholic Church on the same day at 10:00am.

His final resting place will be at his family home in Marindi Village next to Marindi Girls’ Sec. Sch, Homabay County on Friday 24th May, 2019 from 9:00am.
