It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Jared Otieno Abok which occurred on 14th March 2026.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Eunice Akoth Otieno. Father of the late Christine, Sophie, Olivia, Hepher and Robert Otieno. Father-in-law of the late Kenneth Watta and Esther Kamau.

Son of the late Mzee Joel Abok of Kano, Kanyagwal-Kamiruga and Mama Turphena Omom Abok of Oduwo Village, Muhoroni. Beloved brother of the late Tobias Omondi, Milkah Okello, Dr. Eng. Peter Aguko, the late Kenneth Odhiambo, the late Manasse Abok, the late Tom Ojwan& Esau Ochieng’, Edwina Oduor, the late Johnson Abok and Norah Awino.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Elly Mikwa and Dorcas Adoyo Mikwa. Brother-in-law of Karen, Petronilla, Judith, Millicent, Rose, Jane, the late Isabel, the late Kenneth Mikwa, late Tom, Pamela, the late Grace, Hellen, Emily among others.

Adoring grandfather of Aleke Watta, Chiwo Gitonga, Mitch- Omodho, Leo Jataya and Telo Jabali.

There will be a fundraising on Monday, 23rd March 2026 at All Saints Cathedral at 5:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held at Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 from 2:00 — 4:00pm.

The cortege will leave for Chemelil on Thursday 26th March 2026 and burial will take place on Friday 27th March 2026 in God Abuoro, Muhoroni.
