With great thanks giving and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the departure of Jesca Cianjoka M’rithi, which occurred on 30th March, 2021.

Wife of the late Fernand Mirithl. Co-wife of Bridget Maitha M’rithi. Sister of the late Kabiru, Lenity, the late Adel and Lilian Ntiba. Mother of Patrick, the late Micheni, Violet, Godfrey, Ellyjoy, Pauline, Adel, Harriet, Dorothy, Robert and Joselyn. Step-mother of the late Kellen, the late Micheni, Munene, Kagendo and Muthltu. Mother-In-law of the late Charity, Lydia, Jason, Jane, Esther, Japhet, Raphael, Lucy, Maingi, Beatrice and Mwenda. Aunt of Japhet Nyaga, Catherine Mutegi and Prof. Ntiba, among many others.

Grandmother of Mugambi, Mwiti, Kinyua, Kiende, Mutwiri, Kelvin, Kagwiria, Jipcho, Kathambi, Mercy, Muriki, Wycliffe, Lt. K. Mwogora, Mwende, Murimi, Mumbi, Muthomi, Neema, among others. She is survived by 45 Great-grandchildren among them Makena (Chuka University), Else (Maseno University) and Happiness (Lugulu Girls). Great-great-grandmother of Gift Makena and Natasha Mwende.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kiang’ondu, and at her sons’ home at Ikuu (Gachuri) and Karurini (Kamutubu).

The cortege leaves Lampedusa Funeral Home (Chula), on Wednesday 7th April, 2021, at 8.00am, Funeral service will be held at Kiangiondu PCEA Church, 10:30am. Thereafter, her remains will be laid to rest at her home In Kiangiondu.
