John Gitau Wanyoike

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Gitau Wanyoike (formerly Clerk Assistant of the National Assembly) on 27th July 2022 at The Nairobi Hospital.

Son of the late Wanyoike Kiboco and the late Jane Kariti Wanyoike. Loving husband to Jerusha Wambui Gitau of MM Chandaria Primary School, loving father to Sylvia Njeri, Jotham Wanyoike and Evans Chege.

Loving brother to the late Peter Kiboco, late David Guchu, Mary Wanjiru, Wilson Ndungu, Duncan Kabuthi and Alice Wanjiku.

Son-in-law to the late Evans Chege Njoka and Jose Nyambura Chege. Brother-in-law to Njoka, Jeniffer, Muthaiga, Beatrice, Catherine, Mwangi, Kibe and Jacqueline. He was an uncle, Cousin and grandfather to many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements his Kiamumbi home from 6.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3rd August 2022 at 7.00am.The funeral service will be held at his home in Kenol, Murang’a County from 10:00am.
