John Kimutai Matiy (Kap Choboi)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Kimutai Matiy (Kap Choboi) formally of AFC which occurred on 9th June 2018 after a long illness.

Son of the late Kimatiy Kimuloi Arap Murei and Soti Taprongoei Kirnatiy. Son-in-law of the late Kipkutol Arap Mining and Toyoi Kutol of Kapsang Family, Kapmwosor. Husband of Rael Kimutai. Father of Simion, Late William, Julius Mutai (KRA Nakuru), Vincent, Shadrack, Stella, Evelyn and Jennifer. Father-in-law of Veronica, Emmy, Noelyne, Joyce, Edna, Victor and Kelvin. Brother of Eunice, Wilson, Lina and Sarah. Brother-in-law of Ben, the late Josephine. James and William. He was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Dry’s farm (Ainabkoi).

There will be a fundraising on Saturday 16th June 2016 to aid in funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves MTRH on 18th June 2018 for an overnight stay and thereafter burial will be on 19th June at his Dry’s farm Plot 168 Ainabkoi West Uasin Gishu County.
