John Mugo Maina
It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of John Mugo Maina which occurred on the 23rd of May 2022, following a tragic road accident on Thika Road.
He was the beloved husband to Beatrice Nyokabi Mugo. Loving father to Isabelle Nyambura, Nimrod Maina and Robert Maru. Son of the late Nimrod Maina Macharia and Isabelle Nyambura Maina. Son in law to the late Robert Maru and Sarah Maru.
Brother to Grace Waweru (Deliverance Church Mwiki- Kasarani), Duncan Macharia, Bethuel Ndung’u, Johnson Mwangi, the late Miriam Njagi, Dathan Marira, Helen Njenga,Tabitha Mutonga, Julia Theuri (USA) and Zephaniah Gichure.
Brother-in-law to Reverend Peter Waweru of Deliverance Church Mwiki- Kasarani, Mwihaki Macharia, Margaret Ndung’u, Beatrice Mwangi, Edward Njagi, Naomi Marira, Rev. Doc. Lukas Njenga (UK), Henry Mutonga, George Theuri (USA), Veronica Gichure, Mary Wambui, Peter Ndung’u, Susan Maru, Joram Ndaruga, Nyambura Maru, Lilian Wanjeri, James Mwangi,Winnie Muthoni and the late Kamau Maru.
Family and friends are meeting daily on the 5th floor at Eureka Highrise Hotel at 5.30 pm.
The cortege leaves KU Referral Funeral home(By-pass) on Tuesday (31st of May 2022) at 7.30 am for burial at their home at Githioro village, Rwathia Sub-Location, Kangema-Sub-County in Murang’a.
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, that they may rest from their labours, and their works shall follow them. (Revelation 14:13).
