John Ng’ang’a Ndung’u

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved John Ng’ang’a Ndung’u after a short illness and hospitalization in India on 14/07/2017. John was the Chief Operations Officer at Hand in Hand Eastern Africa.

Beloved husband of Jackline Wanjiru Ndung’u. Son of Peter Ndung’u Mwaura and Grace Wambui Ndung’u (Kabazi, Nakuru). Son-in-law of the late Gathuthi Karaya and Charity Gathuthi. Doting dad of Sharon Wambui, Graca Wambui and Wellington Ndung’u. Brother of the late Christopher Mwaura, Leah Njeri, John M Njathi (Min. Interior), the late Charles Njoroge, Douglas Ngigi & Beatrice Wambui, James Kinuthia & Miriam Nyakio, Karaya Gathuthi, Njogu Gathuthi and Wamuyu Gathuthi. Nephew of James Ng’ang’a (KARI), Bedan Mbugua and Henry Mwangi (Moto), the late Monicah Mahika (Narok), the late Grace Ngugi (Thika), Miriam Waithera (Germany),Waithera (Njoro), Josephine Gathoni (Njoro), Jane Njeri (Nairobi), Susan Wangari (Lanet) and Ann Wanjiku (Elburgon). Cousin and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Chania Gardens, Thika, Norwich Union Towers opposite Hilton Hotel, Nairobi, at 5:00 PM and his parent’s home Maombi Farm in Kabazi, Nakuru.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 21/07/2017 at 6:30AM for the funeral service at his parent’s home Maombi Farm in Kabazi, Nakuru.

 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith. (2 Tim. 4; 7).
