We accept God’s will and announce the death of Mzee John Okiambe Aruya which occurred on Sunday 29th July 2018 at Christa Marrianne Hospital, Kisii County.

Son of the late Francis Aruya and the late Eucabeth Nyakara. Husband of the late Mama Biliah Kwamboka Okiambe. Father of Grace Mogire, the late Risper, Stella, Linet, Gladys, Mercy, Enock, Ontiri, Erastus and Esther. Brother of the late Moraa, Nyanduko, Nyasuguta, Keragia, Retemo, Beatrice, Omani, Nyamao, Ogechi, David, Queen, Noraa, Kambuni, Yabesh, Charles, Julius, Richard, Gesare and Ornoti.

Uncle of Rebecca, Mary, Onyancha, Gladys, Everline, Mogaka, Obwoba, Kemuma, Jason. Jackline, the Ogoro’s, the Nyariki’s, the Memba’s, and Oyares. Cousin of Nathan Mogire, the late Moninda, Nyamao Olympic, Shadrack Kiyondi, Makori, Arika among others Grandfather of Ogeri, Milcah, Aruya, Nyambeki, Caleb, Mong’ina, Faith, Misiocha, Philip, Emmanuel among others.

The burial committees are raking place daily at his home Nyaguta, Kiogoro market and Mwalimu Hotel Kisii as from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Christa Marianne hospital mortuary on Thursday, 9th August 2018 for overnight vigil and burial on Friday 19th August 2018 at his home Mwabota, Nyaguta Sublocation, Kisii County.
