John Peter Muigai Karanja

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s perfect will that we announce the death of our beloved John Peter Muigai Karanja on Friday, 6th November, 2020. Formerly the founder of Njigirira Kugeria Sawmill, Gatura and Njabini.

Beloved son of the Late Zacharia Karanja and Naomi Wanjiku. Loving husband to Naomi Wambui, Margaret Murugi and Margaret Waihuini. Doting father to Nyambura, Karanja, Njihia, Wanjiku, Nyoike, Naomi, Joyce, Karanja (USA), Mwangi, Wairimu, Ruth, Mary, Nyoike (USA) and Wangui.

Brother to Wairimu, Wambui, Njami, Kweri, Mwangi, the late Nyoike and the late Gicau.

Father in law to Fred , Kamau, Muchai, John among others. A grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his Mbugiti Santon home, Gatura Sub-Location, Gatanga Sub-County, Murang’a County, every day from 3pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati Kenol on Tuesday 17th November, 2020 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at his home at Mbugiti Santon.
