John Richard Githere (JR Githere)

It is with profound sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the promotion co glory of our beloved, John Richard Githere (JR Githere), which occurred on the 9th October, 2021.

John Richard Githere (JR) was the son to the late Samuel Mbugua Githere arid the late Cecilia Wanjiru Kamau. He was step- brother to the late John Moffat Githere & Nancy Githere, Sally Githere, Isaac & Mary Muigai, Jayne Githere, Grace Githere and Martin & Alice Wahorne, Cousin and uncle to many. Beloved father to Ann Nyambura. Barry & Catherine Mbugua, Jacqueline Wanjiru Githere, Brian & Dianah Miller, Joseph & Rispa Mochu, Cecilia Wanjiru and Colleen Muthoni.

A loving grandfather to Chantal Mbugua, Zitaleona Mbugua, Zianca Mbugua, Serenity Miller, Michael Miller, Briana Miller, John Miller (JB), Ella Mochu, Patrick Njuguna and Nathan Njuguna. He was a friend and mentor to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5:00pm at the Consolata Shrine auditorium, Westlands for burial arrangements.

There shall be a memorial mass on Friday 15th October, at Consolata Church, Westlands from 2:00pm.

The cortege shall depart the Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, 16th October, 2021, at 8:00am for burial and service at his Naivasha farm at 11.00a.m.
