Johnson Kiribu Kanyi

1949 – 2022

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Johnson Kiribu Kanyi that occurred on Saturday, 11th June 2022.

He was the son of the late Robert Kanyi and the late Anne Wambura.

Johnson was a loving husband to Jennifer Wamuyu, Father to Ann Wambura, Kennedy Kanyi, Charles Ngunjiri and David Kiruchi. Father-in-law to Michael Ngunjiri, Esther Wanjiku, Rose Wambaire and Edita Gathigia.

Brother to Mary Wanjiku, Margaret Wangechi, Priscilah Gathigia, Gladwell Njoki Kiguta, Mary Wangui Macharia, Morrison Kiruchi and Solomon Ndirangu.

Grandfather to Sheila, Sharon, John, Alpha, Olivia, Chris, Precious Janeffer, Osteen, Janelle.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Mukurwe-ini for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege shall leave Mukurwe-ini Mortuary on Friday, 17 June 2022 at 10:00am and the funeral service shall be held at PCEA Muhito Church grounds starting at 11:00am. Thereafter interment at his home in Gachiriro village, Muhito location, Mukurwe-ini Sub County.
