Johnstone Barmagony Kassenge

It is with great sorrow and acceptance that we announce the demise of the late Johnstone Barmagony Kassenge that occurred on 12th July 2019 after a short illness. He was an official of 0DM party Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Son of the late Sawe Cherop Kipkeu and the late Sainaka Cherop, step son of Mary Talaa Cherop. Beloved husband of Carolyne J. Biwott. Loving dad of Titus Kipchirchir (Kmtc Chwele), Urbanus Kipkurui (Chewoyet High), Valencia Jelimo (Ngeria girls), Linus Kipruto (Kaptora Pri), Glen Kiprono and Christian Kimutai (Kapcherop Pri). Brother of Risper, Albina, late Georgina, late Casper, Divina, Martha, Ben and Eric. He was Cousin of Jeremiah, Sally, Charles, Mary, Stella, Esther, Regina, Josphine, Monicah among others. Beloved uncle and In-law of many.

The family and friends are meeting daily at Lagam, Kapcherop, Eldoret and Nairobi for funeral and burial arrangements.

There will be a fundraiser on Monday July 22nd at Lagam and on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 at Sunrise Eldoret (Wagon wheel Hotel), Nairobi (Garden Square). Contributions can be forwarded to the paybill no. 86867, Account No. B Kassenge or Mpesa. 0722761868.

The Cortege will leave MTRH Mortuary on Friday July 26th 2019. The burial will be on Saturday July 27th 2019 at his home in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
