Mama Dorca Abong’o Nyariaro

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Dorcas Abong’o Nyariaro on Sunday 14th July 2019 of Wire village, Oyugis.

Daughter of the late Nerea Onyango and the late Richard Abongo Warinda. Wife of the late Enock Nyariaro Ogal. Mother of Ben Nyariaro of Ministry of Agriculture, Beatrice Akinyi Ojwando, Alice Nyariaro of GiZ Endev-Kisumu, Emma Nyariaro of Harambee Sacco, Tom Nyariaro, Richard Odak and Morris Nyariaro. Sister of Okeyo Warinda, Dorine Obat, the late Meshack, the late Simbiri, Adhiambo and Atieno Warinda. Daughter-in-law of the late lgnatio Ogal Bugo and the late Mama Persila Orwa.

Mother-in-law of Ken Ojwando, Faith Onyango, the late Felix Abwao, Mohamud Fadhamula and Felista Ochieng. Sister-in-law of the late Elmad Otieno, the late Paul Oloo, the late Mishael Omiti,Azaria Omanyi, Charles Ogal, Sos Ogal and Ganda Ogal, Mary Aringo Oloo, Mary Atieno, Jacinta Omanyi, Margaret Akoth Oloo, Dorothy Omiti, Rosemary Odero, Lucia Ganda, Jane Atieno, Monica Mwalo, the late Joseph Osewe, Eunice Agola, Mary Joseph, Walter Ogal and Elizabeth Opande.

Aunt of Liz, Denis, Rose, Ken, Dotty, Dorcas, Mordecayo among others. Grandmother of Naomi, Zena, Nicole, Asman, Gladys, Madeleine, Hassan, Morgan, Emanuel, Angle, Princess, Cianto among others. Great grandmother of Ramon and Daniella.

Daily meetings and prayers are been held at her home in Oyugis. There will be a major fundraising on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 to cater for funeral expenses at All Saints Cathedral starting at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu on Thursday, 25th July 2019 at 10.00am for a night vigil at her home in Wire Village, Oyugis.

Burial will take place on Friday, 26th July 2019 at Wire Village, Oyugis, Rachuonyo Sub-County in Homa Bay County.

Mum you fought the good fight, you finished the race, and kept the faith. Rest in peace with the angels.
