Johnstone Ndirangu Waigwa-Mwigaruri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce promotion to glory of Retired Inspector of Police Johnstone Ndirangu Waigwa-Mwigaruri of Kangaita Village Gaaki Sub-location Gaaki Location, Nyeri County, which occurred on 16th November, 2019.

Son of the late Waigwa Mwigaruri and the late Loise Njeri Waigwa. Husband of the late Phylis Wanjugu Ndirangu. Brother of Mugambi Waigwa, the late John Wachiuri, the late Miriam Mukami Mutonyi, the late Eva Wanjiru Wahome, Joseph Kariuki and Julius Nguitui. Father of the late Rebecca Wanjiru, Grace Njoki (DO HQs), Miriam Mukami (Berlin, Germany), Richard Waigwa (Kenya Police), Amos Muiga (Nairobi County Government), Rahab Wangari Ireri (Nairobi County Government) and Jesse Mugambi (Seattle Washington, USA). Son-in-law of the late Alexander Muiga and the late Ngima. Grandfather of Phylis, Grace, Jackline (Seattle Washington, USA), Brian, Ngumbau, Mark, Irene, Munene, Abigael, Kelly, Emma, Florence, Nding’uri, Wangechi, James and Steven. Great-grandfather of Clementine, Loise, Kaniaru and Mwigaruri. Uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily starting at 4.00pm, at his home, for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri funeral home (Outspan), on Friday 22nd, 2019 at 8.00am for church service at Kangaita PCEA Church, starting at 10.00am. Thereafter, the body will be laid to rest at his home in Kangaita Village.
