It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Jonathan Kipruto Tarus on 9th September 2018 after a long illness.

Son of the late Kiptarus Arap Nyorgi and the late Kobilo Kiptarus. Brother of the late Kipkorir, the late Alexander, Loyce, the late Taptuei, Wilfred and Nelson. Husband of Rosalyne Tarus and father of Rhoda, Joan, Jepchumba, Kipkoech, Jepkosgei, Jebichii, Laban, Caroline and the late Kipkemoi. Grandfather of Queen, Baba, Felix, Mercy, Kemboi, Sammy, Winnie, Ronnie, Lily, Wangare, Kipchumba, Malia, Natasha, Emmy and Malcom. Great grandfather of Neilan, Nevin, Kiptoo, Braiden and Briannah. Father-in-law of James, Lawrence, David, Njoroge and Marion.

The cortege will leave Nakuru War Memorial funeral home on 15th September 2018 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial on the same day at his home in Tolmo village, Saos-Kibias location, Baringo County.
