Jorim Ouma Oyier

It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Jorim Ouma Oyler announces his death which occurred at the Kenyatta National Hospital on 29th August. He was a Presbyter of Chrischo Church Nyanza IV and a teacher at Saradidi Secondary School in Rarieda Constituency.

Son of the Late Manasseh Oyier and Peres Oyier and Step son of Apolonia Oyier of Gem Anyiko, Yala Sub-County. Husband of Lilian Jagero (Teacher at St. Barnabas Sec. Sch), Anyiko. Brother of Perez Odero, Henry Apondi Oyier, the late Edward Otieno, Peninah Okello, Mildred Osembe, the late Emily Koko and the late Beatrice Awino. Step-brother of Morris Oyier, the late Paul Odhiambo, Julius Odero, Benter Anyango and Helda Awino.

Loving father of Emmanuel Oyier, Florence Ouma, Peres Oyier and Millard Oyier. Son-in-law of the late Jorim Agingu Jagero and Flora Agingu of Seme Ratta. Brother-in-law of Francis Jagero, Professor Nelson Jagero, Eunice, Evans, Dan, Pauline, Beryl, Theresa Odero (UoN), the late Mary, Consolata, Florence and Alice.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital, Milimani on Friday 14th September for viewing at Saradidi Secondary School in Asembo. Thereafter the cortege will leave for Bondo Ramogi Oginga Odinga Park for viewing of the body, before proceeding to his home in Anyiko, Yala.

The burial will take place at his home on 15th September after a service at Anyiko Primary School.
