Son of the late Fredrick Maingi and late Loise Mumbi Maingi. Beloved husband of Mrs Monica Kaluki Kavatha. Father of Eunice Kanini and Catherine Kavatha (Machakos Primary School). Brother of Nelson Kimanga, late Joyce Syokau jonna, late Henry, Kasuna, Sebaastian Munge, Solomon Maingi ,Beth Sila and Alex Mutuku Maingi. Son in law of the late Mr and Mrs Abednego Makau Mbili. Grandfather of Robinson Mumo, Sylvester Mwendwa,Donald Musyoka and Lorna Mbula. Great grandfather of Jones Kavatha and Wendy Misari. Cousin of the Mativos, Kavuvis and Mbindyos.
