We regret to announce the death of Joseph Birundu Makworo which occurred on Friday 7th June 2019.

Son of the late Nichodemus Makworo Machika and the late Basitika Osebe Makworo. Father of Samuel Oichoe Birundu (Lecturer Kisumu National polytechnic), Jesina Moraa, Pamella Bosibori (USA), Callen Kwamboka (Nursing Officer Nyachogochogo Health Centre), Peter Auta (Teacher Nyoera Pri. Sch.), the late Evans Birundu, Linet Kemunto (Clinical Officer-Migori General Hosp.), Christine Kerubo, Jairus Ondongia, Stella, Kerubo, Jairus (Teacher Hiringa Girls High Sch. Nyeri County), Christopher Mungei (Rumruti Prisons-Laikipia), Jobson Makworo ( Vera Construction), Rodgers ,Masese (UoN), Janes and Nyaboke.

Brother of Benson Ongeri, Zablon Okindo, Rev. Johnsilas Makworo (AIC Admin. Secretary Gusii Branch), the Iate Nyakenywa Jackson, Bichang’a, James Morang’a, Dickson Nyabuto, Samwel Makworo, Pastor Peter Auta (AIC Getai Church), Beatrice Moraa, Yunuke Nyaboke and Nora Kwamboka. Uncle of Mwango, Yuniah Mungei, Benjamin (KDF- Lanet Nakuru barracks), Josiah Nyakinywa (Namanga), Juma (Driver), Dorine (Teacher Nyoera Sec. Sch.), Eng. Obadiah (Kisii), Aipher, Ziporah, Gladys and Esbon. In-law of Charles Mose, the later Patrick Nyanamba, the late Kwamboka, Mong’ina, Charles Morwabe, Gisore Morwabe, Sagwe Morwabe, George Morwabe, Risper Morwabe, Margret Morwabe and Jane Morwabe. Grandfather of Lewis Makworo, Devis Morang’a, Elisha Light, Norline, Elisha Makworo, Cynthia Magoma, Precious Machoka, Joseph Morwabe and Janes Ondonga.

The body leaves Ram Hospital mortuary on Thursday 20th June 2019 for his home Riomuga village for viewing of he body, then proceed to his Home Church – Nyoera PAG Church for a requiem mass, thereafter to his second and final home at Bonyang’ande village, Nyoera Sub-location, Bassi Central, Kisii County, burial will take place on 21st June 2019 at his home Bonyang’ande Village.
