The death has occurred of Joseph Kinyanjui Mureu (Nguta).

Son of the late John Mureu Kamau and the late Naomi Wanjiku Mureu. Step son of Lucia Wanjiru Mureu (Wakirima). Husband of Lucy Wangari Kinyanjui and Teresia Muthoni Kinyanjui. Father of the late Stephen Kimani, Harrison Mwaura Kinyanjui (KRA), Robert Mathina (Businessman Nairobi), the late Joseph Kagiri. George Kinyanjui (K.W.F.T. – Headquarters), Wanjiku Wambugu (Nyali Capital Ltd (Mombasa), Peter Ndichu (Nairobi). Patrick Kibathi, Hannah Nduta (Letshego) and Beatrice Wanjiku.

Brother of the late Margaret VVambui, the late Jafnes Mathina, Wanjiru Wamutu, Tabitha Wangari and George Kariuki. Father-in-love of the late Sarah Wairirnu, Elizabeth Wairimu, Hellen Njeri (Kiambu Hospital), Monica Wambui, the late Lucy Wanjiku, Pamela Muthoni, Patrick Nyoike (KRA.) and Grace Wangari. Grandfather of Kinyanjui Kimani, Kinyanjui Kagiri (JKUAT), Kinyanjui George (Kabarak), Kinyanjui Mburu, Kinyanjui Mwaura (Pioneer), Lucy Kirnani-Njuguna (KU), Lucy Mwaura (UK), Dennis Mwaura (Strathmore – DENRI), Martha Mwaura (JKUAT), Lucy Mathina, Eddie Nyoike among others. Great grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his farm in Kigumo village, Komothai Location, Githunguri in Kiambu County from 3.00 pm, in Nairobi at Blue Springs Hotel Thika Road, in Nakuru at Kokeb Restaurant, and in Mombasa on Mbuni Road Nyali at 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kigumo Hospital Mortuary on Friday 2nd February 2018 at 8.00am for funeral service at Kigumo AIPCA Church. Thereafter the burial will follow at his farm on the same day.
