It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Joseph Kipkirui Yebei (Mwalimul. which occurred on 24th March 2026 at Nakuru Specialists Hospital.

Joseph Kipkirui Yebei was born in 1947 in Singsoiywek Village, Mengwet, Barnet County, to the late Ambrose Towet and the late Tabletgo Towett.

He was the beloved husband of Agnes Yebei. Devoted father of Bernard (Egerton University), Beatrice (Interior Ministry, Eldoret), Zephaniah (Kongotik Girls), Margaret (Eldo Hub, Nairobi), Peter (Xenon Kenya). and Susan (Dallas, USA). Father-in-law of DickensaWinnie, and Chrispin.

Brother of the late Samson, the late John, and Richard Yebei.

Loving grandfather of Antonette, Kimberly, Harriet, Courtney, Jewel, Travis, Brayden, Jason, Troy and Adiya.

Son-in-law of the late Arap Ngerechi and Sophia Taprorot Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Roret, Ngata Bridge, Nakuru, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, at his Kirobon Ngata farm, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
