Its with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Joseph Koinange Gachobe which occured in Outspan Hospital – Nyeri.

Son of the late Bernard Gachobe and the late Nyambaki.

Husband of Pauline Wanini. Father of Beth Wanjiru, Bernard Gachobe (of Coin-Mega Enterprise OTC), Ann Nyambura (Nyarugumu Comprehensive School-Nyeri), Mary Wangari and Henry Mbugua. Father-in law of Lucy Wambui Gachobe and Naomi Wanjiku Mbugua and Patrick Muraya. Grandfather of Keziah Wanini (KRA) and Wesley Maina,Vivian Mugure,Victor Koinange,Timothy Kariuki,Alex Maina, Lynnette Wanini, Mary Nyambura,Vincent Kabachia, Ivy Wanini, Brian Munyinyi, Lewis Koinange, Dennis Gachobe, Oscar Koinange, Lawrence Ngunjiriand Tamar Wanini. Great-grandfather of Wesley Gachobe,Wyne Kamau and Kyrah Wanda.

Brother of the late Kabaita (Mwalimu), Phillip Muiga, Late John Kahiro, Martha Wangari and Albert Nderitu (Kwa-Njaguti Agencies).

Family and friends are meeting daily at Gachobe’s homestead, Munaini Village Next to Munaini Primary School for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Outspan Hospital Mortuary – Nyeri on Thursday 29/01/2026 at 8:00 a.m followed by funeral service and interment of the body at his home in Munaini Village.
