It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Joseph Mosweta Osiri on 6th May,2021 following a short illness.

Son of the late Chrisantos Osiri Okioga & Yovensia Nyangara of Nyakongo Village. Husband of Agnes Nyakagwa Mosweta. Father of Dennis Mosweta, Vincent Mosweta, Benjamin Mosweta and Abuga Mosweta. Brother of Agnes, Pasifica, Charles Osiri, Moriasi, Omboga, the late Andrew, Mokua, the late Mogambi and Kemuma.

Son-in-law of Nyarige Nyanchoka and the late Dorica Kwamboka. Nephew of the late Ochoki Okioga, Sure, Nyachiro, Onsomu, Monyoncho, Bosco, Nyaega, late Nyachio, Maria, the late Anna, Celina, Monchari, Paulina, late Sibia and Alexina. Cousin to Major Nyangaya, Polycarp, Moriasi Advocate, Stephen Onsomu USA, Dominic, Innocent, Kemuma Nyaega, Nyasuguta, Robert, Joseph Ombeka, Samuel Ochoki, Elijah Okioga, Onsomu Sure, John Mochama and Peter Mochama.

Funeral planning and prayer meetings are taking place at his Ruai residence daily from 5.00pm.

On Friday 14th May the cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Horne at 8:30arn for St. Peter Catholic Parish – Ruai, for a church service from 11.00arn, followed by a burial ceremony at the family home in Ruai Nairobi.
