Joseph Oriku Obaga

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Joseph Oriku Obaga on 7th May 2021 after a long illness bravely borne.

Former employee of the Ministry of Water Masaba North sub-county, Keroka, Nyamira. Son to the late Mzee Stanslaus Obaga and late Mama Paustina Nyangate. Beloved husband to the late Sabina Kerubo and dear father to Emmanuel Gichana, Robert Ooga, Pauline Kemunto and the late Victor Monayo. Grandfather to Fabian Machuki. Son-in-law to Mzee Christopher Nyangoya and Mama Teresa Nyaboke. Brother-in-law to William, Florence, Ronald, Edward and the late Richard, Charles and Irene. Brother to Sabina, Mary, Samuel, John, Teresia, Peter, Anne, Consolata and the late Jane.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home.

The cortege leaves Christamarianne Hospital on 13th May 2021. Funeral service and burial at his home on 14th May 2021 in Mokoine village, Manga sub-county, Nyamira County. Covid-19 protocols shall be observed.

Eternal rest grant unto Joseph oh Lord, and perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in Peace.
