Beloved husband of Hannah Muthoni Mwangi and loving father of Immaculate Wanjiru, Julius Kamau, Sarah Nyambura, and Lillian Kanyi. Father-in-law of Chris Gathecha and Neema Kamau. Grandfather of Maryanne and Pete Gathecha, Jonathan, Stephanie, Michelle and Zuri Kamau, Benjamin, Eve and Sharon Githinji and Lemayan Mwangi.
Brother of Vincent Ndururu Gathuci, Paul Kagwi Gathuci, Cyprian Ekwesi Nyutu and Stephen Gaciura Gathuci.

Family and friends are meeting daily at PCEA St. Andrews Church Nairobi at 5:30 pm from Tuesday, 26th March 2024 to Thursday, 28th March 2024.
Funeral service will be held at St Andrews Church on 3rd April 2024 at 9,00a.m followed by a burial at the family farm in Iregi, Gakoigo – Maragua.
