It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Noru Magera (Jose), on 6th November 2020.
Beloved first born son of Gilbert Magera Noru and Sarah Mary Wanjiku Magera. Loving husband of Sarah Njagi and doting father to Matthew Magera and Joanne Mukiri. Cherished brother to Marie & Francis Mbui, Sam & Miriam Mugacha, Dr. Ruth & Mike Casey, Joachim & Shaquita Kabui and Moses & Hellen Thara.
Son in law to Rtd Lt. Col Paul & Mary Susan Njagi. Brother in law to Anne Sharon, Elisha & Fridah Njeru, Lily & Lance Dudah, Becky &Vincent Maina & late Abraham Njagi. He was cheerful and fun Uncle to several nephews and nieces and even a grandfather.
Relatives and friends are meeting on Monday 16th November 2020 at their home in Buruburu for prayers and final arrangements from 5-7pm.
There will be a requiem mass on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at 2.00pm at Blessed Sacrament Church, Buruburu Phase 3.
Relatives and friends will meet at KU Mortuary, Thika Road on Wednesday, 18th November 2020 at 8:00 am for viewing. The cortege leaves at 9.00am for a funeral service at Maragua ,Catholic Church at 11.00 am and thereafter, laid to rest at the family farm in Maragua.
Joe, you fought a good fight, you have finished your course, and you have kept the faith. Glory be to God.
May the lord comfort the family in his peace that is beyond any human understanding. May they all be encouraged
This is very very sad may God rest his soul in peace. Honestly he was a very good person and very good friend indeed. Am really shocked. If possible how can I reach his family
