Joseph Nyambok Ogweyo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Japuonj Joseph Nyambok Ogweyo which occurred on 22nd December 2019.

Son of the late Mzee Ogweyo Ongus and late mama Awilo Nyambata. Beloved husband of Mary Obunga and Teresa Agutu. Brother of David Ogweyo, Teresa Ogelo, the late Petro Ondoro,William, Pilipo, Memba, Konge, Jacob, Firnika and others. Brother-in-law of Clementina Ondoro, Isebela, Magdalina and others. Father of Peter Nyambok (Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate, State department for Planning), Ruth Mbija, Dickens Okech (House of Hope), Benard Olwero (Catechist Rodi Parish), Moses Nyambok (Financial Consultant-Geokawi Investments), Daniel, Pius, Carolyn and Florence. Other children: Duncan Ondoro (KALRO Naivasha), Phylister Ondoro (USA), Zadock Ondoro (Muhoroni Sugar), Julius Ondoro (Olare Secondary), Charles Ondoro (KDF), Beatrice Ondoro (Lake Primary) and others. Father-in-law of Judith Okombo (Lake Primary), Elvin Okombo, Belinda Oyoyo (Nyatoto Secondary), Christine Muga, Esther Ondoro (Matunwa Secondary) and others. He survived by 49 grand children and 13 great grand children.

The cortege leaves Rosewood Funeral home —Rongo at 1:00p.m on 09/01/2020 for funeral mass at Rodi Parish at 2pm.

Burial will take place at his home in Ngere Village, Kanyada Katuma- Homa Bay county on10/01/2020 starting at 9:00am.
