Josephine Adhiambo Nyapada

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Josephine Adhiambo Nyapada formerly a teacher at MM-Shah primary school, Kisumu that occurred on 7th June, 2021 while undergoing treatment at Eldoret Hospital.

She Was the daughter of football legend Ambrose Nyapada and Beatrice Nyapada of Agwara village in Bondo, Siaya County. Granddaughter to the late Alfred Agola and the late Grace Ohito. The loving mother of James Opot, Beatric Opot and Isaac`Opot. She was Grandmother of Belle Hera. Sister to Nelly Bingi, Rosebell Selker, the late Patricia, the late Martin, Vincent, Charies,Timothy, the late Fredrick, Alfred and Stephen.

She was a granddaughter to Mr. Joash Nyawade. Her uncles are Osewe Japheth and Elisha Owino. Her aunties are jerusha Guga, Florence Owino and the late Jael Osewe, Cousin to Eng. Paul Omondi, Florence Maganda, Susan, Rosebella, Francis, Aggrey, Caro, Erick, Isaac and Teresa. Sister in law to Nancy, Caroline, Betty and Redempta. She had nieces and nephews of the families of Osewes, Owinos, Ochiengs, Josephine Adhiambo Bingis, Selkers, Odhiambos, Aluochs and many others.

Friends and family are meeting every day at Okore Estate in Kisumu or fundraising, prayers and funeral arrangements.

The funeral service and burial will take place at Chiga, Kisumu County on Saturday 19th 2021 at 9.30a.m.

We thank God for the legacy of peace, love, faith, determination and diligence.
