It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Josephine Wanjiku Kimani on 14th August 2019.
Loving wife and best friend of Peter Kimani Makumi. Beloved daughter of George Muchiri Mbatia and the Late Martha Murugi. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Makumi Gitau and the late Mary Wanjiku Makumi. Loving mother of Maryanne Wambui, Immaculate Nyaguthii and Philip Makumi. Mum-in-law of Kevin Nyachio and grandma of Pascal Maina.
Sister of Caroline Wangu, Violet Nyawira, Stephen Mbatia, James Wahome, Titus Kigo and the Late Robert Munene and Charles Kinyua. Sister-in-law of John Makumi, Francis Njuguna Makumi, Lucy Wanjiru, Susan Ndegwa, Philomena Wanjira and the Late Margaret Wambui Kimani. Loving Auntie and grandmother of many.
Family and friends are meeting at their residence in Komarock Sector One Mwaalika Court (Hse. No. 616) and at the Holy Family Basilica (Saint Bakhita Hall).
Funeral Service will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Kiganjo on 22nd August 2019 at 11am and thereafter interment at their home in Kiahuho Kiganjo.

This is my hardest month in the year
I miss you I’ve got so much to tell you I don’t know why you had to leave I’m still trying to accept that you left us I still wish you were around to guide me through this puzzle we call life.
One day we shall meet again and we can all laugh at my poor decision.
