Joyce Targok Chege (Mama Mbuthia)

In acceptance of God’s will, the Chege family announce the passing on of Joyce Targok Chege which occurred on Thursday 15th August, 2019 at the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital.

Beloved daughter of the late Reuben C. Boit and the late Leah Kabon Boit. Cherished wife to Mr. Chege Mbuthia of Milimani, Nakuru and Kirobon. Step daughter to Zipporah Boit (Kabartonjo). Sister of the late Zipporah Tyongik, Esther Rotich, late Martha, late Eileen, late Aaron, late Elizabeth, Ruth Kabirerin, late Shem, late Isaac, late Nicholas, Sally Boit and late Paul. Step sister to Kandie, Kiptoon, Toroitich, Chebet and Hosea. Loving mother to Patrick Mbuthia, Stella Chege (KMTC- Nyeri), Kennedy Kihara, Muiruri Chege and Purity Chege (KMTC- Nairobi). Mother-in-law to Jane Mbuthia, Viola Kihara and Caroline Muiruri. Grandmother to Dennis, Njenga, Gladys, Kennedy, Ciku, Randall, Rolf, Dekker, Joy Alicia, Randy, Ryvirie, and great grandmother to Janelle and many more.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru at 7.30am on Saturday 24th August, 2019 for burial at her Kirobon home (Solian Ward, Eldama Ravine).

Family and friends are meeting daily as from 2.pm, at Kirobon village, Solian.
