It has been two years.

At times, the pain is twice as much. At other times, the thought of grief nearly disappears from the memory. But then it is back again. A smile on the face, a nod of the head to remember the happy times we had with you.

We wish you were here.We wish we could come and spend time together. Laugh together. Eat together. Pray together. Now, we pray knowing we will be with you one day.

Our tears of sorrow are mixed with tears of joy.As we remember you, the pain is tempered with the gladness.

Day by day, we are getting stronger because we know that is what you always wanted.

Tomorrow is not given, but the joy we have is from knowing you ran the race and fough• the good fight.
