Josephine Wanjiru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Josephine Wanjiru of Riverside Estate Juja, an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Daughter of Rtd Senior Chief Ephantus Mwaniki Thuo and Mrs Rosenancy Wambere Mwaniki of Rukenya Village, Kirinyaga County. Mother to Dennis Gitu and Phoebe Wambere.

Sister to Jeremy & Joyce Thuo, the late Charles & Agnes Gacoki, Stephen & Jumoke Ndathi, Mary Wawira, Peter & Esther Wambugu, Simon & Edna Mithamo and Daniel & Edith Munyi.

Auntie to Dennis, Tony, Jane, the late Nancy, Lewis, Alvin, Claire, Mwaniki Ndathi, Edna, Mwaniki, Mugo, Dominic, Steve, Gloria, Corey, Cherry, Emmanuel, Dan and Abigail. Cousin to many.

Friends and family are meeting at her home in Riverside Estate in Juja, All Saints Cathedral Nairobi (Trinity Hall) and at Rukenya.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 7.30am on 8/7/22 for the burial service at A.C.K St Marks Church, Rukenya Kirinyaga County. She will then be laid to rest at her parents’ home in Rukenya.
