It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Joyce Kerubo Okebiro-Mumbo which occurred on 4th May 2021 at Kisii Level 6 Hospital after a short illness. She was a teacher at Ikonge PAG Primary School.

Daughter of Late Samson and Truphena Okebiro of Ikuruma Village, Ngenyi Ward, Kisii County. Wife to James Mumbo, daughter in law to Rev. Julius and Esther Oanda. Mother to Esther, Dereck, Dennis and Manasseh. Mother in law to Jabitha Moruri, grandmother to Honeyn Rinda and Shanize. Sister to Pastor Jackson Ochengo, Eng. James Mageto, Mr. Rasugu, Mr. Oroko, Florence, Mr. Bogonko, Mr. Ombati, Eunice and Isabella.

Sister in-law to Mary, Jane, Leonorah, Ruth Ombati, Ruth Bogonko, Rachael, Joel, Jahson, Lucas, Maina and Daniel. Niece to Nashon Maiko, Beauttah Onsomu, Momanyi Sibeya, Simon, Alice and Florence. Aunt to Violet, Fanuel, Grace, Wayne, Abel, Irene, Zablon, Brian, Faith, Rayne, Dr. Jared Bosire and Eng. Josphat Simba and many more.

Cousin to Wilfred Ombati, Oroko Tinega, Col Nyakundi, Andrew Momanyi, Peter Omariba, Micah Otachi, Godfrey Sibeya, Joyce Kabesa, William Ochogo and Hon. Stephen Nyarangi and many more.

Burial will take place on Friday 14th May 2021 at her home Magombo Ward, Sirate Sub Location, Kenyerere Village, Nyamira County,
