It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Judith Akinyi Onianga on 3rd November 2019.

Daughter of the late Peter Ogola Ogege and Mama Jael Ayado Ogola and Mama Margaret Ochino Ogola of Asembo Kanyigoro, Nyagoko, south Asembo location, Siaya county. Wife of the late Isaac Onianga Arek of Seme Konywera, Reru. Mother of Linda, Zephania, Christine and Rodgers (Abunde). Daughter-in-law of the late Chief Joab Arek and, Mama Claris Arek. Sister of the late Peninah Otieno, Monicah Odundo, Stella Nyadimo, Risper Otudi, the late Tom Ogege, Eng. Samuel Ogege (KeNHA), the late Jenifer Otieno, Josiah Langi (USA), the late Joseph Agabu, the late Joseph Nyambok, Joan Openji, Phoebe Awimbo, John Ogege (ADRA — SOMALI), Benter Awuor and the late Elly.

Cousin of Eunice Ayodo, Capt. Kopondo, Gilbert Onuko, amongst others. Niece of the late Richard Opino, the late John Otumba Okayo and JJ Obara amongst others. She was the granddaughter of Christine Cloy Achieng Nyagogo and Margaret Opino of Uyoma Katwenga Onianga (Nyawere) Lweya. Sister-in-law of Shadrack Marenya, Hesbon Odundo, Andrea Otuodi, Opiyo Jamboka, Elly Onyango, John Awimbo, mwalimu George Awuor, Roselyne Ogege, Esther Langi, the late Jane Agabu, Beatrice Nyambok, Scholar Akendo and Esther Ng’wono.

The cortege leaves Siaya county referral hospital on Friday 22nd November, 2019 at 12.00 noon for a requiem mass at PAG Reru Assembly.

The burial ceremony will be held at her home in Konywera village, Seme Reru on Saturday 23rd November, 2019.
