It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Judy Onkoba Nyanumba on 13th March, 2021, after a short illness.

Wife of Josphat Nyanumba Tochi of Magombo village, Nyamira County. Daughter of Shem Onkoba Mogusu and the late Ezna Nyakioga. Daughter-in-law of the late Dickson Tochi and the late Elmelda Nyanchwa. Sister of Hon. Rosemary Onkoba, Doris, Rachael, Beatrice Mogusu and Xavier. Loving mother of Austine, Emma, Ignicious, Elmelda and Sonye. Sister-in-law of Linet, Esther, Zack, Enock, Dennis, Mark, Ken, Daniel, Franco, Dennis and Josphat. Granddaughter of Nyakioga, the late Rael, Nyaboke, the late Bochere and the late Mogusu. Cousin of Osanos, Ongusos, Kinaras, Kemuntos, Kaninis, Manotis, Nyakiogas, Mogusus, Ndeges, among others. Aunt of Victor, Angela, Junior, Victoria, Skylar, Diana, Elmeldas, Stacy & Deborah. Niece of Ndeges, Mogusus, Nyakiogas, Manotis, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Keroka and Magombo. A major fundraising will be held on Thursday, 18th March, 2021, at Keroka town from 10.00am.

The cortege will leave Hema Hospital Mortuary, on 18th March, 2021, for burial on Friday, 19th, March, 2021, at her rural home in Magombo Village, near Nyambaria High School, Nyamira County.
