Julie Syomiti Mbilu

It is with heavy hearts and gratitude to God for a life fulfilled that the Mbilu family announces the call to glory of Ms. Julie Syomiti Mbilu on the 28th May, 2021 in Mombasa, Kenya after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving daughter to the Late Major-General Eliud Simon Mbilu, former Commander of the Kenyan Navy and the Late Mrs. Avia Mbilu. A Dear Mother to Sally Mbilu. Loving sister to Marie Mbilu-Mumanyi, Betty Mbilu-Mwanzia, Nancy Mbilu-Bailey, Esther Mbilu and the Late Peter Mbilu. Adoring aunt to Biko Beauttah, Simon Beauttah, Kevin Mumanyi, Simon Mwanzia, Lucy Mwanzia, Muoki Mwanzia, Avia Mwanzia, Joel Muthama, Avia Muthama, Simon Kithuku, Avia Kithuku and Daisy Ruela.

The funeral service will be held at Crossroads Fellowship Church, Nyali, Mombasa on Friday 18th June at 9:30 a.m. Julie will, thereafter, be laid to rest at Mulango village, Kitui County on Saturday, 19th June 2021 at 10:00am.

The ceremonies will be conducted in accordance with the MoH Covid- 19 guidelines.
