Julius Muchori Njuru

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our Brother-In-Christ Julius Muchori Njuru of Compassion International that took place on 11th April, 2024 after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Esther Waruguru Muchori of Old Mutual Life.

Loving father of Roselyne Wanjeri (Phillips Therapeutics), Johnwesly Njuru (KSL) and Burtonprince Kamau (Thika High School).

Son of the Late John Njuru Gikuma and Julia Wanjeri Njuru of Kayu Village, Kihoya, Kangema. Son in-law of the late Burton Kamau and Virginia Wanjiru of Kigoro Village, Gatanga.

Brother of Jane Wangari Kariuki, Prof. Peter Njuru and Lucy Gikuma, James and Nicoleta Julius Muchori Njuru
Wangari Maina, Dr. Stephen and Dr. Grace Wangari Gitahi, Paul and Beatrice Waruguru Kiiru and Faith Wambui.

Brother in-law of Reul and Wangui Thuri, Dr John and Wangui Wagacha, Joseph and Jane Ng’ang’a and Alice Wanjiku.

Meetings are taking place daily from 6:30pm at his home in Safari Park View Estate, after Qwetu Apartments and next to PAC University, via Safari Park Hotel/USIU road.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home, along the Northern Bypass, on Friday 19th April 2024 at 7:30 am for a funeral service in CITAM Parklands, and burial thereafter at Kabati, Thika, before Kenol.
