It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Justina Penina Munyiva Mulinge.

Wife of the late Gregory Mulinge Kakenyi. Daughter of Mr Ishmail Mwakavi and Beatrice Wandia. She was sister to David Mwakavi, Benedeta Muando among others. Mother to Mrs Matilda Mutevu,the late Maltina Wandia, Georgina Mulinge, the late Virginia Mulinge, the late Domitila Mulinge, Suleiman Kilonzo, Ngoloma Mulinge, Gregory Musyoka and the late David Nzioki. Step-mother of Margaret Solomon, Mbesa Kakenyi, Ndungwa Mulinge, Mueni Mulinge among others.

Grandmother to the late Ken Mulinge, Maureen Mulinge, Gabby Wandia, Hassan Ngoloma, Raymond Kilonzo, Ismael Mulinge, Bridgit Nzioki among others. Great-grandmother to Amal, Brady,Andrea and Gianna.

Auntie to Diana Mbuthia, Salome Muthiani, Major Mweu Kakenyi, Angelina Mbaabu, Thomas Kakenyi, Clement Kakenyi, Lucy Kakenyi, Gloria Muthio, Mutheu Midwa, Charles Muindi, Felix Kyengo, The Kasangos, The Kasojas, among others.

Mother-in-law to Rose, Esther, Zabibu and Monica.

Sister-in-law to the late Brg.(Rtd) Peter Kakenyi, the late Ann Mukonyo, Ndumi Kasango, Syowia Kasoja, Col.(Rtd) Michael Mutua, Joseph Kakenyi, Brigid Mbatha Kakenyi among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her home in Mbilini Kangundo.

The cortege leaves Patjude Funeral Home in Nguluni on Friday, 19th August, 2022 at 7:30-am for funeral mass at St. Peters Clevers Mbilini from 11:30am and thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home in Mbilini – Kangundo.
