Father of Josephine Kavinya, Marinah Muted, the late Brian Ngesu, Roy Kitheka and Allan Mutunga. Father-in-law of Alexander Nyamai. Grandfather of Ethan Nyamai, Ivan Muteti, Leon Muteti, Helena Kasungwa. Brother of Janet Mubichi, Boffin Nyamai, Robinson Muthama and Mercy Muli.

Prayers and meetings for funeral arrangements continue to be held at his home at Kangalu and Moonlight Hotel in Kitui County.
The cortege leaves the Tribute Funeral Home at 8:00am on Saturday 14th September, 2019 and thereafter a funeral service will be held at Kangalu Primary School and Burial Service at his home at Wayani-Kangalu, Kitui County.
