Kenneth Kibet Kimetto

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Kenneth Kibet Kimetto (NTSA) of Kapchereren Village, Kaptoboiti Location, Belgut, Kericho County. He went to be with the Lord on 12 January 2026 at Siloam Hospital after a short illness.

He was a son of the late David Soi and the late Ann Soi. Father of Emmanuel Kipchumba and Mark Kiplimo/ Brother of Eric (TSC), Judith (cEcrl Kericho County), Edna (TSC), Margaret (TSC), the late Wesley, Edwin (TSC), Charles, Beatrice (TSC) and Beryl (TSC).

Brother in law of Linner, Job Chirchir (WASP EB), Joseph Kosget, the late Augustin Mutai, Eunice, Gloria and Godfrey (Coop Bank). He was uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kapchereren Village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds drive on Wednesday, 21st January 2026 at the home grounds.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home on Friday, 23rd January 2026 for a night vigil at the home. The Funeral and burial service will take place on Saturday, 24th January 2026, at Kapchereren Village, Kaptoboiti Sub-location, Kaptoboiti Location, Kericho County.

ROMANS 14:8 “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s”.
