It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Kenneth Mutahi, (former director and producer of Kivunja Bavu, Vitimbi, Vioja Mahakamani, Plot 10 and others at KBC) of Kaharati Village, Muthithi Location, Muranga County.

Son of the late Apollo Mukua and the late Ruth Wachera. Husband of the late Mary Gathoni Mutahi. Father of the late Sammy Mutahi, Jayne Kabura, Nina Ken Mutahi and Mia Ken Mutahi. Brother of Gachingiri Kamoche (Juja), the late Lydia Wairimu, Nancy Waruguru (Kimathi, Thika), Jemimah Sanda (U.S) and Lucy Gichuki (Avenue Park 2). Father-in-law of Asha Mwangi, Andrea Zuckful, Nick Wanyera, and Ayaz Rajput. Brother-in-law of Jane Gachingiri, Barnabas Lihema, Charles Sanda and Bishop Sammy Gichuki. Nephew of Reuben and Tabitha Thuku, the late Wanjohi and Leah Tatua and Beatrice Wanjiru Ngugi. Uncle of Andrea and Mary, Wambui, Mwangi, Taz. John and Clara, Ruth, Kevin, Wycliffe, Mutahi and Mercy, Ben, Linda, Ronnie, Wachera, Marvin & Lydia, Martin, Nathan. Grandfather of the late Marley Mutahi, Adam Mutahi, Muli, Anita Gathoni, Rita Wachera, Shania Gathoni, Emmanuel Menza, Nikita Kadi, Tatum Mwambogo, Naila Gathoni, Ayona Rajkumari. Add uncle to many Great-grandfather Great grand Saumu, Israel, Claire, Taji, Luca and Zuri.

Family and Friends are meeting at Mtwapa Mombasa, Embul-bul Ngong, Kimathi Thika, Avenue Park 2 (House 102), Embakasi and Juja at Gachingiri’s home from 6.00pm.

The Cortege Leaves K.U. Mortuary on Wednesday 13th March, 2019 at 7.00am. There will be a Church Service at his ancestral Kaharati village (near Saba Saba) and Burial to follow thereafter at the same venue.
