Jane Wanjugu Muriuki

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Jane Wanjugu Muriuki formerly of KARI, Nairobi.

Beloved daughter of the late Habel Gatheru Ndang’a and the late Lydiah Wamuyu of Gathima Village, Kiarithaini, lriaini Location, Mathira East Constituency, Nyeri County. Sister of Nicholas Waigi (Nanyuki), the late Juliet Wanjiru,Mary Muringi (USA), Anderson Ndang’a (Nairobi City County),Grace Nyaguthii (Nairobi) and Rose Wacheke (USA). Wife of the late Charles Muriuki Karani. Mother of Kevin Karani, Linet Wakiuru and Ian Gatheru. Daughter-in-law of the late Karani and the late Wakiuru. Sister-in-law of Wachira, Murigu, Githae, Njiri, Gathoni, Agnes Wangechi, the late Samuel Kibanya, the late Michie Gitau, Eva Muthoni, Richard Murigu and Patrick Kibue among others. Cousin and aunt of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5pm to 8pm at both her Uthiru residence, Gathima and Nairobi at Ebony meeting Chambers (next to Tuskys Imara, Tom Mboya/Accra Road junction).

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday, 13th March 2019 at 8.00AM and funeral service will be held in Gathima village at the graveside from 9 AM to 12 Noon and the body laid to rest thereafter.
