Kent John Opoti Libiso

The Opoti Family of Mabusi Scheme and Busia regret to announce the passing on of Kent John Opoti Libiso after a protracted battle with Cancer bravely borne.

Son of the late Rev. Shadrack Waswa and the late mama Julia Nekesa Opoti.

Father of Lloyd and Daniel.

Brother of the late Alfred and Ebby, Peggy and Nils Mole, Emoytte, Joanna and Phil Mead, the late Dorothy, the late Bob David and Rachida Ruth and Rishardy Mkuva. Kent was uncle, nephew, grandfather, in-law, cousin and benefactor to many.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Morgue on Thursday 17th July 2025 at 10.00am for requiem mass at St. Francis Church, Likuyani. Thereafter the cortege will proceed for overnight vigil. The burial will take place on Friday 18th July 2025 from 9.00am at the Family home in Mabusi Scheme plot No. 87, Nzoia Location, Kakamega County.
