It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Kogo Christine Jerugut Rotich (Bot Singoei).

Daughter of the Late Francis Arap Letting (Kapbukwo) and the Late Mary Letting (Bot Mamsa).Wife of the Late David Kipyego Rotich (Kapmaramba). Co-wife of the late Ruth Rotich (Bot Karonei). Mother of Isaac Kipruto Birech and Step mother of Lawrence Yego, Isaiah Chelulei, Joshua Yego, Samuel Rotich and Hosea Yego. Sister of the Late Mamsa (Kaptoriet), the Late Arap Musee and the Late David Sitienei (Arap Lilan). Mother-in-law of Ruth Yego, Salina Chelulei, Esther Yego, the Late Beatrice Yego. Priscilla Rotich and Peninah Yego. Grandmother of Irene, Chris & Viola, Remmy & Masha, Victor & Sheila, Ian, Daisy, Daniel, Norah, Collins, Jeremy, Patricia, Caleb,Allan, Beryl, Dinah, Joy, Daniella and Jake. Great Grandmother of Taimoon, Zoe, Azaria and Ella.

The fundraiser to offset medical bill and funeral expenses will be held today at her home Cheptiret from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital Funeral home on Thursday 30th Jan 2020 at 10am to ACK St Luke’s Cheptiret Parish for a church service thereafter to her home Cheptiret for an overnight vigil. Funeral service and burial will be held on Friday 31st January 2020 at her farm Cheptiret Village, Kesses Sub County,  Uasin Gishu County from 9am.
