Linda Nyakerario Nyakundi

It is with profound shock we announce the passing on of Linda Nyakerario Nyakundi, a Form 4 student which occurred on 20/01/2020 after a short illness.

Daughter of Mr. Issac Nyakundi Nyamongo and Hellen Kemunto Nyakundi (University of Nairobi). Sister of Evelyne Kwamboka, Miriam Kerubo and Rhoda Bosibori. Granddaughter of the late Simpson Nyamongo, the late Priscila Bosibori Nyamongo the late Anderea Mong’ei and Pauline Moreka. Niece of David, Simeon, John, Paul, William, Joseph, Kabby and the late Samuel, Florence, Esther, Yunia, Dorca, Sabina, Marita and the late Mellen. Sister-in-law to John Atambo and aunt to Niah Moraa. Cousin of Naomi, Elizabeth, Dan, Ezra Peterkin, Lorna, Daniel, Obed, Froda, Janet, Peter, Dorca, Moses, Job, Naomi, Ruth, Victor, Anienya, Winfrida, Moffat, Beckham, Brian, Maureen, Benedict, Kebaya, Kwamboka and Onkaba.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Garden Square Nairobi and at their home in Mugoya Estate Phase I in South C Nairobi, House No. 109.

The main fundraising to help family offset medical bill and funeral expenses will be held at the Professional Centre, Nairobi on Tuesday 28/01/20 at 5p.m.

There will be a church service at Nairobi South SDA Church on Wednesday 29/01/2020.

The body leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 30/01/20 for the ancestral home in Ogango Village, Nyakongo Sub-Location, Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County. Burial will take place on Friday 31/01/2020 at her father’s home.
