Laurence Sewe-Oloo (Larry)

This is to announce the passing on of Laurence Sewe-Oloo (Larry) in Mumbai, India, on 1st September, 2017.

Loving husband of Lucie Osodo Sewe (Eastern Africa Standby Force, Karen). Father of Luigi (Strathmore University), Laura (Daystar University) and Leonardo (St Austin’s Academy). Son of the late Gabriel Oloo and Mama Bernadette Auma Oloo of Matayos, Busia County. Son-in-law of the late John Osodo and the late Joyce Ayienga Osodo of Kitale. Brother of the late Mwalimu Oketch, Joseph, Anna, Pamela, Consolata, Caroline, Tom, Raymond, among others. Brother-in-law of Emma, Florence, Wangui, Hellen, Leonora, Dettie, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Patch, Hillary, Richard and Sylvia. Cousin of the Amolos, Omondis, Okellos, Jumas, Obadas and Odabas, among others.

To offset medical and funeral expenses, friends are invited to a fundraising meeting today 11th September, 2017 from 5,30 p.m at United Kenya Club, off State House Rd. opp. St. Pauls’ Chapel-Nairobi. A major fundraising will be held at the same venue tomorrow Tuesday 12th September 2017, at 5.30 p.m. Contributions may also be sent to Mpesa Paybill no 993993 – Larry Sewe Funeral Fund. A requiem mass will be held at St. Paul’s Chapel on Thursday 14th September from 1.00pm. Larry will be laid to rest on Saturday, 16th September 2017, at the family home, Nabisiongo village, Matayos, Busia.
