Eliud Mururu M’Tuamwari

It is with profound sadness that the Management and Staff of Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) announce the demise of Eliud Mururu M’Tuamwari which occurred on Sunday, 3rd September, 2017 at St. Theresa Mission Hospital-Kiirua, Meru after a short illness. Until his demise, Eliud Mururu was a member of staff in the Estates Department.

Son of the late M’Tuamwari M’Laaria and late Ciakwalu M’Tuamwari. Husband of Margaret Nkirote and Alice Gaceri. Father of Juster Kianira, Moses Thuranira, Esther Murochia,Amos Kaugiiria, Isaac Mugambi and Risper Makena. Grandfather of Moreen Kagwiria, Nelly Makena,Abigael Kendi and Nelly Gachui. Brother to the late Naman Kuyoga, James Karing’uri, Francis Gikura (USA),Tabitha Kanene, Janet Mwonjaru and the late Hellen Ntuti. Brother in-law of Alexander Rutere, Godfrey Thuranira, Gitiye Kiriamburi among others. Uncle of Bernard Kimathi, Muriungi, Joseph Kalayu, Kirito, Grace,Titus, Nkatha, Benson among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Makirune Village, Tigania West from 4.00 p.m. The cortege leaves St. Theresa Mission Hospital-Kiirua, Meru on Tuesday, 12 September, 2017 at 10.00 a.m. Thereafter, the funeral service and burial will take place at his home in Makirune Village,Tigania West sub-county, Meru County at 1.00 p.m.
