We announce the death of Lex Boniswa ‘Nisa’ Mvusi .
Funeral 9.00am Saturday 1st June 2019
Randburg Methodist Church, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Mrs Mvusi, together with Mrs Edith Matiba and Mrs Rebecca Njau, was from the April of 1964 to April of 1968 one of the inaugural teachers at Nairobi Girls’ High School.
She was the widow of Mr Selbi Mvusi, founder of the Industrial Design School (ADD) at the University of Nairobi, who passed away in Kenya in December 1967.
She is survived by her daughter, Ms Linda Mvusi, and her grandchildren.

I have fond memories of Mrs Mvusi. She was like a mother to us at Nairobi Girls’ Secondary School. She was caring and gentle.
May she rest in peace.
